Pride! Envy! Gluttony! Lust! Wrath! Greed! Sloth! Together they will ruin the world!

Except that it appears that two of the sins want to get rid of the group and do the ruining by themselves.

"It must be Pride and Envy," someone says.
"No! Wrath and Greed, it must be those two!" someone else exlaims.
"I swear I saw Sloth and Gluttony plotting earlier," a third one adds.

But to tell the truth no one knows which two are plotting together. They only know that if they don't get rid of the two plotters they will find themselves very dead very soon.

    Roles look like this:
You are X, one of the seven deadly sins.
You win when all extra evil sins are gone, note that you do not have to be alive to win.

The doctor also has this line: You are also the Doctor. You can protect one sin each night from night time killing.
The inspector also has this line: You are also the Inspector. You can investigate one other sin each night to find out if they are "normal evil" or Extra Evil.
The extra evil sins' roles may differ from the above :)

Changes to the standard rules (you must know the rules by pain of death).

    1. Please vote in bold, if you do not vote in bold, the vote will not be counted. Please try to use bolding only for votes & if you want to ask me something in the thread. If you want to emphasize parts of your posts you can use italics, underlining, size and colours.

    2. You must post at least once every 72 hours. If you don't please let me know that you are still playing. If you are going to be away, let me know (either by PM or in the thread).
    3. Nights last 48 hours (saturday & sunday together count as 24 hours). If you have a night action & don't send me any choice(s) you won't do anything.
    4. If I feel the discussion is dying I will set a deadline for the day.
    5. You may quote (or pretend to be quoting) any PM from me.
    6. Selfvotes will not be counted.
    7. The Golden Mod Rule: I'm always right. If you think I've made a mistake, you're wrong (but let me know anyway, and I might go ahead and make some changes for completely unrelated reasons).
    8. Have fun.

    Sinners
    Carmine - Envy
    BumbleBee - Greed
    Alluric - Sloth
    Dasquian - Wrath
    Miv - Gluttony

Getting crispy in a hot place
    T - Lust - Townie - Lynched day 1.
    Haug - Pride - Doctor - Killed night 2.

    Good luck everyone!

    End of day 1

Please note that night 1 is only a period of roles going out. No night choices tonight.

The day has started! With seven sins sinning away, 4 are required for a lynch.

Thinking about it, this is pretty touch for the town. A mislynch day one and a failed block and it could all be over by the end of day two.

Oo started. I think we should probably not play the "random voting" game as we're so small: two poorly placed votes and the whole thing could collapse on us. But with the setup defined so clearly, what's to prompt discussion?

Well, for a start, Haug's supposed ignorance. Contrived? Perhaps not.

Mono: you might want to change the title of the thread to reflect day.

Hi Colonic: In a game run by Carmine, with 9 people, how many killing groups would you expect there to be? Mono: 10

Hmm, I'm not sure how to go about this, what with the lack of info etc, but got to start somewhere....

Surely you're not just going to follow the lead of others  Trust nobody!

Eesh, don't lets follow our chosen sins too closely. Else I might get ANGRY or something. Being, er... Wrath. Er, nevermind ;)

Anyway. I'm not sure we shouldn't play the random voting game since otherwise there'll be nothing to go off - we should just remember that the second vote is already halfway to a lynch. With that in mind, vote Carmine for suggesting no random voting :)

I have to admit without random votes we cant add to anyone and see
how they react, but please keep an eye on vote counts.

Fair enough: I expect we'll come down extremely hard on those placing third or fourth votes too early.

I will Vote: Haug for either not reading the game premise, or pretending not to have. (okay, okay, it's mostly random :P)

Hey, I suggested we didn't and the suggestion was rejected, so I changed my mind :P Plus, my vote on you wasn't entirely random: I gave a reason (shaky as it was) :D
