So, you're convinced enough of my innocence (relative to mono) that you're willing to risk me as a potential mafia killing him off early?
That's something at least. I'd like a full claim from everyone, if mono is guilty (and right now he looks it, just due to quietness) then it can't hurt. If one of you two is taking advantage of my idiocy and mono's absence to breeze through we might as well make you work for it.
If there's two bad guys I think we've lost already, but I'll try and keep going.
So, you're convinced enough of my innocence (relative to mono) that you're willing to risk me as a potential mafia killing him off early?
No, but I'm going on the assumption that there are 2 evil people out there, mono being one, you being the other.
Can't really ask for a sig and then not have one now, can i?and if you killed him off I wouldn't be put out at all, i want him lynched, that's why I am voting for him. That is why I sugegsted LP vote for him.
Can't really ask for a sig and then not have one now, can i?vote Mono
Nothing that anyone is saying now is convincing me that any other move makes sense now. I'd feel happier if I could slip this vote in at the last minute - just in case Lacero and Mono are a double act - but I've got a pretty full-on weekend ahead and I needs my sleep tonight. Takes a lotta whiskey to make these nightmares go away, I tells ya. Can't really blame the lovely Carmine for setting a deadline that favors the northern hemisphere. And it really doesn't make sense from a numbers perspective for them to be on the same team.
1000 miles from the chimera I chase...tick:That's intentional. It basically comes down to two baddies with cop-protection being really sadistic and unlikely.
If there are 2 bad guys left, you said anything about them both having cop protection?
Noone ever investigated you mono.
Well, no one who's come forward anyway. So duh, of course I'm not counting myself. I know I'm innocent, but even if I was mafia I wouldn't do that, would I? There are three of you that I cannot know whether you are scum or not, you've all been investigated, so whoever is left must have some sort of cop-protection. If there are two baddies left, then there are two baddies with cop protection left. If there's one baddie left, there's one baddie with cop protection. Why are you assuming that there are two bad guys left anyway, tick? Make it look like we have a much bigger chance of lynching scum than we really have?
Out of self-preservation, I'm going to vote tick, in case La Paloma unvotes or Lacero votes for tick then I can at least survive until nightfall, and perhaps the night.
Very very strange that you only tried that self-preservation gambit now, at the eleventh hour, Mono.
I sleepy
1000 miles from the chimera I chase...I'm sure that if I'd voted anyone before, it wouldn't have done me much good either.
So you're both refusing to claim then?
Why are you assuming that there are two bad guys left anyway, tick?
Because in jozlines death scene carmine referred to her friends, plural. And so far we only have her being dead and evil.
So you're both refusing to claim then?
*shrug* seems a bit pointless now. Maybe tomorrow.
Can't really ask for a sig and then not have one now, can i?Mono - 2 (Tick, La Paloma)
Tick - 1 (Mono)
Not Voting - 1 (Lacero)
The day comes to an abrupt end when someone suddenly points out the sunset. "Oh well, may as well go with this guy, he has the most votes!", and the unlucky resident is dragged to the front and the noose slipped round his neck. He is hoisted above the mob, and left to dangle there until he stops kicking.
The trouble is that he kicks quite a lot, and suddenly the somewhat-overused makeshift jib creaks alarmingly and gently collapses. Mono removes the noose from his neck and staggers away from the stunned crowd. Disappointed, nobody has the energy to try again.
It is NIGHT. Please send me your choices.
Hi Colonic: In a game run by Carmine, with 9 people, how many killing groups would you expect there to be? Mono: 10Day dawns... and for some, it will be the last dawn they'll ever see. For others, yesterday was the last dawn they'd ever see, but of course they didn't know it at the time.
Lacero and Tick stumble outside and immediately both fall flat on their faces, having each tripped over a corpse.
"Noooo!" shouts Lacero, turning over the corpse of Mono.
"My friiiiiend!" shouts Tick, turning over the corpse of La Paloma.
"How could this have happened?!" they shout in unison.
Already fumbling for the cards, Lacero reads aloud:
Mono, you have been identified as having developed the following unusual abilities:
* Dangerous homicidal tendencies
* Bizarre ability to escape from knotted rope bounds
* Disproportionate loyalty to your friends
You are hereby confined to your current location.
It would seem that Mono had developed some kind of ability to get out of inconvenient things like nooses, and had gently slipped over the edge into a plan to kill everyone with his friends.
At the same time, Tick is reading:
La Paloma, you have been identified as having developed the following unsual abilities:
* Dangerous homicidal tendencies
* Disproportionate loyalty to your friend, to the extent of protecting him at all costs
You are hereby confined to your current location.
La Paloma had developed some serious homicidal tendencies, but would have protected his friend at all costs... at least until everyone else was dead.
Rising from their comrades' corpses, Lacero and Tick eye each other warily.
"Well."
"Well."
"So."
"So." Tick turns on his heel and runs. Sadly, he is easily caught by Lacero, who brings him to the ground and dispatches him swiftly.
Tick, you have been identified as having developed the following unusal abilities:
* Disproportionate loyalty to your friend.
You are hereby confined to your current location.
Tick had been unfortuantely swept up in the government confusion as he was so attached to his friend La Paloma.
Lacero rises and surveys the carnage. Well, his friends are down, but he survived and he can take his particular brand of insanity into the night. Who cares about this government containment anyway...
Game over, mafia wins!
