    Things on TV, movies, whatever. Nothing good on TV here at the moment, and I think the last movie I saw in a theatre was the Simpsons (which was ... okay I guess).

    How about you?

    The only shows I watch regularly atm are Heroes (I didn't download it all like the rest of the UK) and Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe (which is one very angry funny man ripping TV a new one).

    Everyone is loving the big funny joke.

    Heroes is pretty good, but not amazing. The BBC was showing enormous amounts of making of and behind the scenes stuff (or something like that) which seemed like overkill to me.

    I forgot to mention that the complete series of "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist" comes out in a dvd box soon. I liked it when it was on tv here a few years back. Oh, and Dexter (only broadcasted in the US so far afaik) is good, I really enjoyed the first season and the second season just started.

    Heroes is OK, and would be great if they'd just cut out the terrible pseudo-science crap. Just call it magic and then it's perfectly acceptable, but saying that evolution suddenly and inexplicably causes thousands of people to develop superpowers is incredibly annoying.

    Dr Katz was very good. I have one season of it on my computer.

    ATM I'm watching House(d), Spicks and Specks(t), The Sideshow(t), Supernatural(t), Boston Legal(r), Days of Our Lives(t), NCIS(t), Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?(t), Heroes(t), The Chaser's War on Everything(t), King of the Hill(d) and Law and Order: SVU(d).

    d = download
    t = television
    r = repeats

    I'll probably be downloading a few more things once I find out what's started again in America. Scrubs, Desperate Housewives and Boston Legal, if they're on yet. I've also gotta get the second season of Life on Mars at some point and the first season of Robin Hood.

    Also, I recently watched Jekyll, which was possibly the greatest TV show ever. It's a modern version of Jekyll and Hyde, written by Steven Moffat (the guy who wrote Coupling). It is brilliant and you should watch it.

    Wallsy.

    Getting BBC 1 & 2 over here is pretty good, they show good things (sometimes). They have a series of Robin Hood that has started again now which is hilarious because it's over the top parallels between their universe and our current day and the Iraq war. And they have merry men/villargers/etc walking around in t-shirts and hoodies every now and again. And Guy of Gisbourne can without exaggeration be called Goth of Gisbourne, clad in weird leathery stuff. Most amusing. Also, Robin is a total wuss.

    Yeah Robin Hood is great, for all the wrong reasons :)
