Two games in one post! Ragdoll masters and Super stealball are both 2D games with ragdoll stickmen, made by the same guy.

Ragdoll masters is a fighting game. You control a ragdoll stick figure, a flexible little guy who you can make swoop around ni a low-gravity playing field. Get your "hands" and "feet" (there are no hands and feet, only the ends of arms and legs) in contact with your opponent's head or body to damage them.

Super stealball is a ball game. Again, you control a flexible little figure in a low gravity space. The goal is to touch the ball, making it turn into your colour. When the ball is in your colour your score bar starts to fill, once it's totally filled you win the match. So it's a constant struggle to get the ball away from your opponents, and not letting them touch it.

The games aren't totally free though, the free version locks a few options (like computer AI), and only lets you play 3 levels in single player mode, the multiplayer mode is unrestricted though. If you want to buy them, they cost roughly $5/€4/£3 each. Both games are available for Windows and Mac.

Oh yes, I knew there was something I had forgotten. I tried Ragdoll kung fu, and I don't know if it was because I was frustrated by being forced to download Steam, create and account for Steam, wait for everything from Steam to download, the not-working Steam search engine, waiting for Ragdoll kung fu to download, or waiting for the horribly slow loading game to load, but I didn't like it. I thought the controls were horrible. Especially moving around was a pain as you had to click and drag, click and drag, oh but not too far, because then you had to do it over again. Perhaps I should have given it another chance, but I just didn't like it at all. YMMV.

There are a lot of people who do like Ragdoll Kung Fu, and you might become one of them, you can go to their official site and see ... tiny screenshots. You need Steam if you want the demo, see a gameplay trailer, or buy the full version.

The maker of Ragdoll masters and Super stealball has also made a small flash game called Ragdoll avalanche 2 (part one is almost exactly the same).

The same guy has also made a game called Particles, which is one of those game with objects flying around and you have to avoid touching them for as long as possible. He's also made a game called Ragdoll Invaders, which is kind of like Ragdoll Avalanche, but with spaceships and lasers and you shoot bullets out of your arms, quite fun.
