Lasers, mirrors and prisms pretty much sums up Reflections and Hawkpeng79.
Reflections has been around for a while. You have a laser, shooting a laser beam, and you have to guide the beam through all light bulbs in the level. To help you, you have mirrors, and different kind of splitters and other things the beam can bounce off. Of course, you are restricted to just a few items each level, so you have to think carefully about the placement (well, at least once you've gotten past the easy levels). There are 25 levels, and each has a password, so you don't have to play through all levels if you decide to play again some other time.
Hawkpeng79 is a bit newer, but builds on the same ideas as Reflections. The graphics are a bit less polished, but the basic elements are there. In addition to the one colour laser you get in Reflections, you get different coloured lasers on some levels, and you have to pass all, or just some, colours through the stars to light them up. The colour of the stars tells you which, so if you have a purple star on a level with a blue and a red laser, you need to pass woth beams through the star. I also liked that you could just click on mirrors etc, to spin them around, instead of using separate buttons like in Reflections.
Fun games.
Dagnabit. Stuck on Hawkpeng's No. 12.
I like the coloured laser thing very much - it adds a whole new mechanic which he uses very well. ![]()
hmm..thought i was stuck on 11, but i seemed to have stumbled upon the answer, either that or it solves itself after a certain ammount of time.
Can't really ask for a sig and then not have one now, can i?actually crap i did get to 12, can't figure it out...
Can't really ask for a sig and then not have one now, can i?Hmm. For some reason it let me advance to 13, even though I hadn't completed 12.
I'd managed to get all but the bottom red star lit.
Everybody loves the papoola.level 26 onwards for the Hawkpeng game, not that i've got past 12 yet.
daegul: the few times it seem to let me through to the next level i think i must have stumbled upon the answer and quickly chaged it without even realising.
You probably did the same.
damn it. still stuck on it
Starshine is a game in the same genre, but it's with shooting stars instead of lasers. And instead of placing mirrors and prisms to guide a beam, you have to find the right place to fire off from to activate all stars.
